Fashion at the SAG Awards

Here are our top favorite picks from the SAG Awards. I was really feeling the vibe of this awards show, I felt that the dresses were less excessive and a lot more glamourous.

First up!

Mila Kunis- Best Dressed of the night

This was by far the most flawless look of the night. Mila chose Alexander McQueen for her SAG debut and damn, was that an excellent choice. Everything from the pattern to the belt, to the sweetheart neckline, to the deep red, this dress is a masterpiece. I like how the skirt has some body to it, but it doesn’t overwhelm Mila’s small frame. Her long, loose curls were a perfect fit for this carefree look.

Next, Natalie Portman (Best Actress in a Film)

This is the dress, made by Azzuro, that I have been waiting for Natalie to choose all awards season long! I love the crisp white, the detailing at the neck, the column skirt with room for the tummy, everything. Her hair is beautiful and her makeup subtle. Natalie is worthy of all the praise she’s been getting for her role in Black Swan as well as her amazing choices on the red carpet.

January Jones

I liked January’s look at the Golden Globes, but this dress absolutely blew me away. The lace detailing is stunning, the rich gold on black palate is flattering, and I like how the short sleeves balance out the thin mermaid skirt. Beautiful!

Lea Michele

I always love Lea’s red carpet looks, but this absolutely blew me away. Instead of looking like her Glee-alter ego, Lea looks like a real woman and a real actress. The ivory color is flattering on her olive skin tone and the sparkle adds just enough glamour. As with Mila Kunis, I love the belt detailing! Lea’s hair is also an A+. I am very happy that she’s growing out those little girl bangs. With that facial bone structure, she doesn’t need them to add dimension!

Claire Danes (Best Actress in a TV Mini-Series)

Claire chose Louis Vuitton for the SAGs. I think the pattern is extremely pretty, her hair is gorgeous, and once again, a belt is doing lovely things for defining her teeny-tiny waist. I loved Claire’s Calvin Klein Collection dress at the Globes, and this dress is completely different but equally beautiful.

For the gentlemen, we had John Krasinski (in Prada) and Andrew Garfield (in Burberry) taking a leaf out of Robert Pattinson’s Golden Globes look and wearing navy blue suits.

Such a youthful, modern take on a classic suit.

Lastly, Cory Monteith rocked a beautiful suit from the Calvin Klein Collection, including a dapper tie clip!

He is too beautiful sometimes. Gleek swoon!

There you have it! My best dressed list. What did you guys think? And WHAT are these lovely people going to wear to the Oscars? I can’t wait to find out, as the Awards Show Season continues!
